The former owners of SMR Aerospace, David B. Smith, Oscar J. Mifsud, and Patrick L. Ryan, formed The SMR Group after the sale of SMR Aerospace to B/E Aerospace of Wellington, Florida (NASDAQ: BEAV), in August 1998.

The SMR Group's objective is to own or invest in well-managed companies which provide specialty products and/or services to the aviation industry.

The SMR Group is sufficiently capitalized to execute on its acquisition objectives.
